Vampire Counts - Vlad von Carstein

I had a lot of models to build a Vampire army. Unit, character models but no GENERAL. So i grab a metal Vlad form ebay and painted him. Now Vlad von Carstein is hungry to lead into battle.
The highlight of this paint job is the cloak.

Vampire Counts - Wight King

There is something coming from the dark. I can see a shadow.

Its a Wight King!!! Oh no! His eyes are glowing.
Like this model from Games Workshop new Vampire Counts Range.

Vampire Counts - Cairn Wraith

The Vampires strike again with a wraith. Like this model. It comes with three different heads. On this one i tried something new. I used glowing pigments on the eyes. Last year I bought some glow pigments from a nails accessoire store. They were not easy to handle.

Vampire Counts - Banshee

Here come a plastic kit model. Like the stability of the material. All parts fit easy together and with the plastic glue there is a a chance to arrange them good.
Here I don't wanted t follow the original color schema. The red is my eyes ruins the ghostly appearance. I gave here a violet gray hair color and it fits much better to the skin and the pajama.

Isabella von Carstein

The second finished Vampire Counts model. This one was hard to paint. Skirt inside and the legs. Lots of fine details all hidden complicated to reach with the brush. So you have really to think were to go first. Not to over paint nice painted parts.
Removed several parts that she looks natural standing on one foot. This makes her very fragile. The entire model just stands on one small plastic leg.

Don't touch her! Just look with the eyes.

Krell Lord of Undead

First finished Fincast Model from Games Workshop. Like the sculpt of this figure. The Miniature was very easy to paint. Good for beginners. Painted him very dirty with some blood splatters on the cape. The Axe has got more magical blade. Was a little bit scared of the light material. Its so fragile. Must handle it carefully.
