Finally I could find the motivation to finish this little man. He is from the Avatars of War miniature range. A lovely, detailed dwarf miniature. He comes with two optional left arms. One with the pistol, as seen above, and one with an Axe. Also there are two differed small options. He can have a cigar ore a pipe, but must not either.
Its a shame that I haven't got the courage to finish him earlier. Needed more skills. Next one will get better. ;)

[WIP] Warriors of Apoc - build/preparations
Time to prepare a model.
First, parts were cut off from the molding process. But don't throw this parts away. We can use them. For a better accessibly I did not glue all parts together. Just the right arm with the weapon and the torso with the legs. As you see on the picture above the cutoff-part of the shield is split into two parts and glued on the arms. This makes it easier to hold them while painting. No need to touch the work all the time. After the paint job is done this pin will be cut off. When all the parts come together no one will see it. The reason why this is done. Because if the shield-arm is put on before painting, its hard to reach parts of the body.
Lets get black priming...

Apocalypse
has arrived. The Regiment Warriors of Apocalypse are here. Thanks to Felix. Guess he helped a little. :)
They are
great!!! Superb models. Almost no flash, NO BUBBLES!, no cutting form
sprues and none plastic waste you have to throw away.
The
models look fantastic. Sharp and crispy details. A lot of parts that
makes your models versatile.
Made
a lot of pictures. So you know what you get in one box.

[WIP] Warriors of Apoc - Bases
Today is the Start of a new Project. The Warriors of Apoc the new line WarCast from Avatars of War. They are not launcht yet but pre-ordered. Waiting...
This does not means to start with something. So I begin with the bases which I got yesterday from Fenris Games. They are doing high quality Resin Bases for a more fair price. So I begin with 20 and prepare them.
First of all wash the resin parts in soap-water.
Let them dry and ready for priming.
