Old Witch of Khador & Scrapjack

After the last commission I was so happy of spare time and bought me a new Warmachine figure. It is the Old Witch of Khador and its special Jack.
I guess the crows will go off very quickly after some transportations. But they give this extra of lovely detail. :)

Man Huntress

This is my 3rd painted man hunter. Years ago I sold my first painted, because of the new variant version. Now I have two different models to field both.
Now I am working on Fenris. The one on foot and the Horse are finished. The rider has to be finished.

Khador Man-hunter 2

This is my second Man-hunter. I like this Model. The face is so characterful. In my games a man-hunter never did any damage. He was always killed before by the enemy. This shows how dangerous he is, if the opponent wants to get him as fast as he can. :)

Winter Guard Field Gun Crew

More Winter Guard Equipment. Took me a little bit longer. Wanted to find a new, better fitting color schema. Which I already applied on the Rocketeer. From time to time I will adapt my previous Winter Guard Infantry models. To bring them all to the same schema.

pimp your old miniatures

Today I am gonna show you that a painted model is never finished and you can still work on it.

This Winter Guard Rocketeer was painted by my long ago.
Yuk!! I apologize to hurt your eyes. :)

My painting skills slightly improved over the years in the hobby. So I got the idea to repaint an old model. Not strip off the old color. Just paint over it. The major colors are already on. You just need to improve the paint job.  Should still be a miniature for play.

Here is the result.
Much better looking now on the table.

And all together the remastered miniature.
Gave him a winter themed base.

This was not the first model. Started with the Butcher but did not previous photos. He is still in work as you can see on his trousers and some red Armour parts on the back.
Hope some of you got inspired to pimp up his/her old models too.

Yuri the Axe

Finally Yuri the Axe is finished. He was hard to paint because he was first built completely. Not easy to reach parts under his cape. I am very happy with his face and skin tone. There I put the most time. The lots of fur were mostly drybrushed and washed and drybrushed again and again.

Widowmaker Marksman

This Khador Widowmaker Marksman is ready to support Widowmaker units. He is kept in brown tones to hide well in the woods. I want not to lose him, therefore he stands on a white icy winter base. :)

Now I have to improve my old widowmaker unit.

Koldun Lord

Was so enthusiastic after the finished Greylord Escort that I continued on with the Koldun Lord. The Inside of the robe came good after several color changes. First I painted it in red. Then washed it with dark brown. But I didn't liked the result. So I got over with a dense blue wash. Then the i build up the red. And its perfect. for me ;)

Maybe you have another opinion. than let me know in the comments.

Doom Reaver Greylord Escort

After a lot of Skaven I need a break of them. The best way to do this is with a single Character model. This was a Warcmachine Khador Greylord Escort. Prepared, assembled and painted it over two days. And now he is ready to be shown. The Base is very nicely and highly detailed. It's from Fantascape from the "Thin Ice" collection. They are really cheap for this quality. No blistering in the resin base.
Like he came out. The bluegrey tones combined with the contrasting red and the greenish staff. Also like to paint white/blueish eyes on casting miniature. Gave him different greyness for fur and hair. So it does not get to monotone, but don't over do it. Less is often more. ;)

If you like it or not, have a questions just leave a comment.
